577-1/14/1163 Walls and gate piers to The Ocean

Dwarf garden walls and gate piers. 1938. Cement-rendered.
Approx 35m in Wicklands Avenue and the same amount in
Longridge Avenue, with square-plan piers at either end; the
walls continue in a segmental curve echoing that of the hotel
itself, so as to enclose a segment of garden; this is in turn
subdivided by low walls of the same design.
Included for group value.
