Terraced house. Mid to late C19. Stucco. Roof obscured by
blocking course.
4 storeys over basement. One window-range. Italianate style.
Stairs up to flat-arched entrance with overlight. Ground floor
has banded, chamfered rustication. To the right of the
entrance is a full-height canted bay with tripartite windows.
All windows flat arched, 2 x 2 sashes of original design to
second and third floors. Bay windows have continuous moulded
sill bands on pairs of fluted brackets; cast-iron flower
guards to each floor of bay, except for first which has a
balcony enclosed by a cast-iron railing and supported by
cast-iron brackets. The quoin strips at party walls, from
first floor to entablature across top, are intersected by
egg-and-dart storey bands between first and second floors and
by a frieze of swags and square flowers between the second and
third floors. Full entablature with dentil cornice. Railings
to stairs and area. Stacks to party walls.
