Farmhouse. c1770. Brick laid to Flemish bond; low-pitched
slate roof with brick coping and brick cross-axial and end
stacks. U-plan with service wings to rear of 4-unit front
range.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 4-window range. Brick plat bands and top
moulded brick cornice. Segmental-headed entrance has doorcase
with open pediment and overlight to C20 door. Segmental-headed
windows have C19 2-light small-paned casements. 2-storey rear
left wing has C19 small-paned casements and to rear an C18
plank door with Norfolk latch; smaller 2-storey wing to right
has plat band and single-storey rear range.
INTERIOR: noted as having panelled doors and shutters, boxed
beams and C19 stick-baluster staircase; room to left with open
fireplace with C18 moulded wood cornice. Rear has lost gabled
wing to right and a lean-to outshut with verandah has been
built; gabled wing to left survives.
