House. Probably mid/late C18 with later additions and
alterations. Painted brick with plain-tile roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic, 3-window range. Central
hallway plan. Central 6-fielded-panel door with divided
overlight between 2 canted bay windows with casements with
glazing bars, all under continuous pentice roof. First floor
has 3 casement windows with lead cames and metal surrounds
under cambered arches. Modillion eaves band. Gabled roof. 2
attic dormers have casement windows with glazing bars. End
stacks with cornices. Reputed to have cellar.
INTERIOR: reputed to have beams to ceilings, inglenook
fireplace.
Forms a group with The Bull's Head Inn, Alcester Road (qv) and
Pound Cottage, Alcester Road (qv).
