Stable at Brook House Farm

GV II

Stable. Early C18 (pre-1746). Reddish brick with Welsh slate
roof. Central stable opening has wooden surround and
elliptical arch. Window opening to right has elliptical arch.
Moulded eaves band.
Adjacent to and forms a group with threshing barn (qv) and
cart shed (qv). Farm buildings around the yard also include
cowhouse and pigeon house (qv) and pigsties (qv). Brook House
Farmhouse (qv) completes the group.
