House in row. Mid C18. Rendered and colourwashed, Welsh slate
roof, half hipped to south with plain gable to north, brick
chimney stacks, the north partly rendered.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and basement, 4 bays. Segmental
arched 12-pane sashes with thick glazing bars and some crown
glass, all in plain openings, upper bay 3 blind and painted.
Matching 9-pane sashes with flat heads to basement bays 1 and
2, with part-glazed door to basement bay 3. Entrance to ground
floor bay 4, up 7 steps to a 6-panel door with ornamental
fanlight over, above which is a C20 hood on timber brackets. 2
hipped dormers with 6-pane sashes and slate-clad cheeks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: as the front boundary around the basement
area and returning up the steps to the doorway, are early C19
railings on low ashlar walling, having hand-formed spearhead
tops; matching gate opposite the basement door, late
additional iron handrail to right of main doorway.
