House over shop. Mid C19 facade on earlier, possibly C17 core.
Painted rendered facade, brick rear wing. Plain-tile and
interlocking-tile roofs. Projecting gable-end stack and
integral eaves stacks to rear. Front range with gabled rear
wing.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar. 4-window range with 2/2
sashes, raised plain architraves and corniced heads with
console brackets at first floor, moulded architraves and
bracketed sills at second floor, raised keyed and stepped
lintels at ground floor. Entrance doorway to right under round
arch set between Tuscan pilasters. 4-panelled door with
fanlight. Moulded string courses, plinth, and channelled
rusticated ground floor. Parapet with modillioned eaves
cornice with enriched kneelers.
Rear gable: stepped brick stack flanked by restored 6/6
sashes, C20 casement at attic level, 8/8 sash at ground level
with right side covered by projecting single-storey wing. West
side: 8/8 sash and tiled gabled dormer with 2-light casement.
INTERIOR: reset C18 oak dog-leg stair with toad-back handrail,
2 carved brackets on each carved open tread.
