Wall and gatepiers 20 metres north
of Manor House

Wall with railings and gatepiers. C19. Brick and ashlar. 3
entrances flanked by gatepiers with linking walls capped by
railings running along the High Street, with return wall
running back to the Manor House (qv) which all form L-shaped
enclosure of the front garden of the Manor House.
Gatepiers each have chamfered ashlar shaft with blue brick
infilling, moulded corniced pyramid cap and moulded chamfered
plinth. Stepped walls of brick set on chamfered ashlar plinth
with ashlar coping. Barbed-head railings with top rail set on
wall.
