Farmhouse. Probably late C17 or early C18, altered in late C18
or early C19, and again recently. Slobbered rubble, graduated
slate roof. Irregular T-plan formed by a single-depth range of
2 wide units, on a north-south axis facing west, with a rear
wing, and an extension at the south end.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 4:2 windows. The 4-window main range has
a large single-storey gabled porch in the centre, with plain
square-headed outer and inner doorways; a late C18 or early
C19 6-light mullioned window to the left with plain surround
and flat-faced flush mullions; old chamfered mullioned windows
of 3 and 2 lights to the right, with a continuous stone slate
dripband over them; 4 square windows to 1st floor, all with 6
panes and casement openings in the top tier but the first 2
tilting and the others top-hung. Left gable wall and its
chimney recently rebuilt; ridge chimney at junction to right.
The 2-window extension at the south end has a square-headed
doorway, a tilting casement to the left and top-hung casements
above. Rear: some through-stones and small windows to the main

INTERIOR not inspected, but likely to contain some historical
