Bank barn. 1879. Coursed rubble with rock-faced quoins and
some through-stones, slate roof. Rectangular plan on east-west
axis facing north, with shippon under west end. Offset left of
centre is a segmental-headed wagon doorway with rubble
voussoirs, flanked by blind bulls-eye windows with rusticated
surrounds, and approached by a straight ramp protected by
rubble side walls. To the right of the ramp is a small window
to the shippon, and through-stones on 4 levels. The west gable
wall, with similar through-stones, has 3 shippon doorways with
square windows between them. Large lean-to addition to rear.
Forms group with Uldale House adjoining to the left (qv).
