GV II

Public house, now two shops. 1835-36; early C20 shop front to
No.100, mid C20 shop front to No.98. Gault brick; front roof
of slate, rear wing of pantiles; brick end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-bay front, the central bay projecting
under quasi pediment. Two shop fronts to ground floor, No.100
returning along Church Street. Three 6/6 unhorned sashes to
first floor under rendered gauged skewback arches: three 3/6
unhorned sashes to second floor. Narrow bands at second floor
and parapet levels: plain parapet conceals roof. Right return
to Church Street: 3-window range, to left of 2-storey 2-window
wing. Shop entrance at canted corner. All windows are sashes.
INTERIOR: no features of particular interest.
