Town house, now bank. 1716; raised one storey in mid C19;
converted to bank in early C20. Yellow brick with red brick
dressings; flat roof of lead with brick end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 6-window front. Left of centre doorcase is
rusticated with replacement door, within porch of Roman Doric
columns, metope frieze and segmental pediment. To left are two
segment-arched horned sashes without glazing bars; to right,
three similar windows, right end one converted to cash
machine. All have brick aprons and gauged arches with
keyblocks. Six similar sashes to first and second floors.
Moulded brick cornice to original front survives below added
third storey. Plain parapet hides roof.
INTERIOR: converted to banking hall. Upper floors not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
