Row of 7 houses. c1770 with later alterations. Rendered and
colourwashed brick; roof of black-glazed pantiles with moulded
brick kneeler at left end; external stack at left end and four
ridge stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and dormer attic: original 7-window front
with one window to each house altered to 9-window front by
insertion of additional windows.
Nos 42 & 44 have paired late C19 panelled doors with
overlights and 10/10 horned sash windows to left and right;
first floor has one 6/6 unhorned sash to each.
No.46 has 4-panel replacement door: to right is plank
passageway door, to left two C20 10/10 horned sashes. On first
floor, two 3/6 horned sashes and additional pair of small
casements under eaves.
No.48 has 6-panel replacement door, one 10/10 horned sash to
left, one 6/6 unhorned sash to first floor.
No.50 has half-glazed door, one 6/6 unhorned sash to right and
similar sash to centre of first floor.
No.52 has glazed door, one 6/6 unhorned sash to right and one
similar sash on first floor above.
No.54 has 6-panel door and one 6/6 unhorned sash to the right
on each floor. Six raking dormers have 2-light casements,
those to Nos 44 & 46 top-hung replacements.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
