Row of 3 town houses, now 2 shops with offices over. c1800;
altered in C19 and C20. Handmade brown brick in Flemish bond,
with some sandstone dressings, slate roof. Double-depth plan,
with back extensions.
3 storeys, 2+2 windows; with a continuous fluted frieze and
modillioned eaves cornice; C20 shop fronts at ground floor of
both portions, that at Nos 7 and 9 with C19 pilastered
surround and fascia, doorway to No.9 with recessed panelled
reveals and soffit, panelled door with rectangular overlight;
2 later C19 tripartite sashed windows on each upper floor of
Nos 7 and 9; and 2 sashed windows with exposed boxes but
without glazing bars on each upper floor of No.11; all these
windows with raised sills and wedge lintels. Right-hand return
wall rendered. Rear: segmental-headed windows, including tall
stair window to No.9 and horizontal-sliding sash to No.11;
single-storey service wing to No.7, with monopitch roof.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Forms group with Nos 13 and 15 adjoining to left (qv).
