848-1/4/87 Hensleigh Farmhouse

GV II

Estate farmhouse. Mid C19. Render on rubble walls; dry slate
roof (sweeping lower at rear) with 3 gabled roof dormers at
the front; 2 brick axial stacks. Double-depth plan including
integral outshut; 3 rooms at the front.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; symmetrical 5-window front
with doorways to 2nd and 4th bays. Original 12-pane hornless
sashes to the front (original 2-light casements with glazing
bars to rear); overlights and panelled doors.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be as unaltered as the
exterior. Forms a good group with the farmbuildings (qv).
