House, now with restaurant. Probably late C18, altered early
C19; could be a re-fronting of an earlier structure. Painted
brick front; right gable slate-hung. Slated roof. Red brick
chimney on left side wall. 3 storeys. One window in 2nd
storey, 2 in 3rd storey. Ground storey has a recessed late C20
restaurant front. Second storey has a bay window with rounded
sides and top cornice; barred sashes, 8 over 12 panes in
centre, 2 over 3 panes at sides. 3rd-storey windows have late
C20 2-light wood casements with glazing bars. Prominent eaves
cornice; appears to be moulded. INTERIOR not inspected.
