House. c1790-1820, possibly a remodelling of an earlier house.
Painted roughcast; probably brick, with some slatehanging to
the rear; gabled slate roof; left end stack with dismantled
shaft. One room wide, 2 rooms deep with an entrance to left
into a cross passage with the stair rising off the passage to
the right. Rooms heated from fireplaces on the right end wall.
3 storeys. Asymmetrical one-window range. Deep boxes eaves on
small moulded timber brackets which curve out round the top of
the 3-storey bow. Round-headed doorway to left with C20 timber
door and plain fanlight. Bow has one 16-pane bowed sash to
each floor, windows said to be C20 copies.
INTERIOR: plain with no original chimneypieces. Ground-floor
front room has arches flanking the stack. Segmental-headed
arches in passageway on party wall with house to left.
