Terrace of 3 shops with residential accommodation above. Early
C19. Painted brick with flat arches; slate roof with modillion
eaves cornice; brick end stacks with many old pots; cast-iron
ogee gutters. Double-depth plan plus rear wings.
3 storeys; 2:2:2-window range with original 12-pane hornless
sashes. Ground floor has original moulded fascia entablature
over 3 altered shopfronts: Nos 43 and 44 have transomed shop
windows and doorways on their left. There is a carriage ope to
right of No.44, and No.45 (right) has its doorway with tall
overlight and original shuttered and panelled door on the
right.
