Wall and piers. c1820 with later restorations. Ashlar
gatepiers and end piers, square on plan with moulded capping.
Two piers in entrance quadrant and a pair set back in the wall
to the street. Pinkish-red brick walls in 2 stages of build
with stone capping ramped up to piers; approx 2m high and 40m
long. The secondary gatepiers and further end piers are brick
with stone moulded capping.
Forms part of the setting for South-west Regency
(administration) block of St Edward's Middle School, Ashley
Road (qv), formerly Ashley Villa.
A significant streetscape feature.
