2 terraced houses and attached railings. c1810-20, shown on
the Post Office Map of 1820. Stucco over brick and slate
roofs, brick stack to left and stucco right end stack;
wrought-iron balconies with lead enrichments, and railings.
Double depth to main part with single-depth to part at right.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 9 first-floor windows (3:6). Floor bands,
frieze and cornice. 1/1 sashes, taller to first floor except
to second floor are 3/3 sashes, all in plain reveals and with
sills. End and central entrances: 5-fielded-panel doors with
lozenge friezes and fanlights with batwing and circle motif
glazing bars. Left return has 1/1 sash. Rear retains several
6/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: individual balconies have rod-and-star
motif with central scrolled panel (an early motif in
Cheltenham), similar balcony to left return. Spear-head
railings to sides of steps and across front.
