Terrace of 4 houses. c1823. Stucco over brick with concealed roof, brick and stucco end and centre stacks; wrought- and iron window guards. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 12 first-floor windows (3 per house). Rusticated ground floor at left, otherwise horizontal rustication, voussoirs over windows; windows to 3 houses to right have shallow, elliptically-arched plain recesses around windows. Ground-floor cornice, first-floor band; crowning frieze and cornice with blocking course. 6/6 sashes where original; 2 windows to ground floor at left are round-arched; central window to second floor of each house is blind; several windows retain blind boxes. Alternate left and right entrances: steps to 4-panel doors with overlights. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: first-floor window guards have scroll-and-circle motifs.
