Paired semi-detached house. 1853. Stuccoed. No.18 has steep
pitched Welsh slated roof, No.20 similar with interlocking
tiles, rendered stack at centre.
2 storeys, basement and attic, each 2 bays. Centre bays have
paired gables with brackets to eaves and verge. On left of
No.20 and right of No.18, each has recessed 2-storey entrance
bay with 6 stone steps to porch with round-headed arch and
architrave opening, recessed 4-panelled door, upper panels
glazed with fanlight to No.18 and fully glazed door to No.20.
On left of No.18 and right of No.20 is a tall canted bay
window with 2 front and 2 flanking casements, No.18 has slate
pent roof and No.20 tiled. On first and second floor each has
6-pane sash with projecting sill and brackets, second floor
sashes shorter. Over each flanking bay 1 sash with marginal
glazing set under round-headed arch and architrave opening.
INTERIOR not inspected.
