House. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared
stone with ashlar dressings; concrete tiled roof with stone
gable copings and brick chimneys.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range and single storey,
2-window range. Renewed door recessed at left of one-storey
build, with 2 renewed sashes with glazing bars at right.
2-storey section has C20 casements, 3-light on ground floor in
surrounds with large blocks, possibly for heightening windows,
on plain stone jambs; flush stone sills and lintels. Single
casement at right end. First floor has 2-light casements above
3-light ground-floor windows, with similar surrounds, with
single light inserted to right of first. Left end stone and
right end brick chimneys to 2-storey section; tall brick
chimney at right end of single-storey section. Left return
gable to High Street has 2-light window recessed in chamfered
stone square surround; curved kneeler to front.
