House. c1900. By Richard Harding Watt. Edwardian Free style.
The house comprises round tower facing garden, with
rectangular block adjoining it facing street. Pedimented
doorway to garden up steps in this block, which is surmounted
by irregular parapet.
3-storeyed block offset beyond, with irregular fenestration of
1 and 2 lights, some with heavy stone lintels, randomly
projecting blocks of stone, and irregular embattled parapet.
Paired windows to ground floor of tower and first floor, not
aligned.
Tower projects from corner of main block, the other corner
marked by projecting square bay window wrapping it. Main
entrance in the northern return. Paired Ionic pilasters each
side of paired doors. Round-arched stair window to the right
of the doorway.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
