GV II

House, now bank. Built c1790 for Samuel Tunnard. Altered 1967
and all that remains is the front facade. Red brick in Flemish
bond, hipped slate roof with lead dressings.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 5-bay front arranged 2:1:2 the centre bay
slightly advanced. Low plinth, stucco sill bands to each
floor, dentilled wooden eaves cornice. Central panelled door
up 3 steps, set with traceried fanlight, panelled reveals and
Tuscan wooden doorcase, with dentilled open pediment. Flanked
by single glazing bar sashes. To 1st floor 5 similar windows,
and above 5 smaller similar windows. All windows have rubbed
brick arches with fluted keystones.
