Privy. C18, probably mid-C18 for the second Duke of Richmond. Red brick in Flemish bond with rubbed brick dressings; replacement leaded roof (c. 1999). Hexagonal plan. Plinth; stepped dentilled eaves; roof finial. Entrance, on south side, has 2 stone steps, double door of 6 flush panels under flat gauged brick arch, and flanking Diocletian windows. Rear: at low level, traces of 3 former bucket holes. Interior: remains of panelled walls and decorative mid-rail and door architrave, with Vitruvian scroll decoration and finely-carved egg-and-tongue motif.
