House, now restaurant. c1736-99 with later additions and
alterations including 1960's attic dormers and 1990s ground-floor
shop front. Brick in Flemish bond, colourwashed, ith plain tile
roof and pinkish-brown brick tall left end stack with oversailing
course and pots. 3 storeys with attics, 4 first-floor windows.
First floor has 8/8 replacement sashes; second floor has 4/8
replacement sashes, all in near-flush frames and with flat arches
of gauged brick. The third opening to both floors is blind. 3 box
dormers to attics with casement windows. Raised and coped gable
end at left. Glazed shop front in traditional style incorporating
central, glazed door.
INTERIOR: the ground floor has been gutted, otherwise not
inspected.
