House. Early C19 villa, altered and extended C20.
MATERIALS: Painted, stuccoed walls; slate hipped roof. PLAN:
Rectangular plan, formerly of 4 cells, now extended at rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 chimneys with clay pots. Sash windows
with glazing bars in box frames. Entrance (south) front: 2
bays. Round plaque with mythological figures in relief in
centre of first floor. Central entrance door of 6 flat panels,
flanked by panelled pilasters, patterned fanlight under
elliptical arch, flat hood over with latticed columns.
INTERIOR: two C19 fireplaces on ground floor, one with
cast-iron fluted surround, other with fluted wooden surround
with paterae in corners.
