Barn, approx 28 metres south-east of
Handpost Farmhouse

Barn. Late C16 extended C20.
MATERIALS: timber frame, part weatherboarded, part brick
infill, old tile half hipped roof.
PLAN: rectangular plan of 4 framed bays, with gabled midstrey
facing south-east in second bay.
EXTERIOR: C20 lean-to tiled extension at rear (north-west).
INTERIOR: queen post roof, double butt purlins with rafters
pegged to them. Straight posts, windbraces and knee braces.
