Sundial and base. 1695. Churchwardens, Arthur Hatchet and Roger Kynaston. Dressed sandstone with bronze plate. Circular baluster with capital and base and swelling to lower body. Circular in section. 1.34m. high, supported on a circular step c.1.25m. in diameter and capped by a bevelled, square abacus bearing the plate which is modern. The original plate is, at the time of listing, kept in the church and has a decorated gnomon and dial with two 12 hour number series in Roman numerals and is inscribed "Arthur Hatchet and Roger Kynaston, Church Wardens 1695".
The building has group value with the Church of St Michael, Loppington [q.v.]
