War memorial. Designed 1920 by F E Howard and carved and erected in 1921 by Messrs Booth of Banbury. Rubble stone and ashlar. The cross stands on an octagonal rubble stone base with a chamfered plinth. Three upper steps are carved with the names of those who died in both World Wars. An octagonal stone base supports an octagonal broached cross shaft topped with a carved 'Gothic' style cross with carved foliate decoration.
This memorial was dedicated at a service held on July 31st 1921 taken by the Venerable Archdeacon Archer-Houblon and the memorial itself was unveiled by Lord Valentia.
