War memorial commemorating those men from Eaton-Under-Heywood who served in the First World War. The memorial was unveiled in April 1920.

The memorial consists of a Grinshill sandstone stepped square plinth with pedestal in form of Roman funerary monument, surmounted by tapering obelisk, pointed at summit. It is bordered by a double railed post and rail fence.

On the front of the pedestal is an inscription which reads as follows: THIS OBELISK IS ERECTED IN HONOUR OF THE MEN FROM EATON-UNDER-HEYWOOD WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918. On either side of the obelisk and supported on low inclined pedestals are bronze commemorative plaques each inscribed at the top with THE WAR MEMORIAL followed by a list of names including rank and sometimes regiment.

REASONS FOR DESIGNATION
Ticklerton war memorial is listed at Grade II, for the following principal reasons:
* War memorials have a very strong historical and cultural significance on both a local and national scale as a reminder of past global conflict.
* Striking monument of classical form, identical in design to other listed memorials.
