Grotto. Probably mid C18. Stone. Square structure set into boundary wall to Manor Farm (qv), with arched opening to rough voussoirs facing into garden. Structure rough cube, mainly in tufa blocks, with rough on edge copings. Interior has transverse barrel vault in cut stone, in rear wall large ashlar niche, and wall to right blocked doorway to rough arched head. Stone flag floor. Part of works associated with Widcombe Manor (qv).
