Terrace house, now flats. c1775 converted C20.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, rubble to basement, ashlar and rubble to rear; double pile parapeted mansard roof has concrete tile to upper slopes, Welsh Slate to lower, with coped party wall to left with two stacks with upper parts rebuilt in concrete blockwork. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement; three window front. First floor has plate glass sashes to left and right, four/four sash to centre, in splayed reveals with lowered stone sills with wrought iron balconettes. Second floor has three plate glass horned sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills. Ground floor has to left two similar sashes, to right six panel door with flush, fielded and single glazed panel in pedimented Doric doorcase with fluted frieze; two steps to pennant paved crossover with C19 cast iron footscraper. Basement has two C20 sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills, door under crossover blocked. Band course over ground floor; moulded eaves cornice and coped parapet. Lead hopperhead at eaves to left. Rear elevation has C19 and C20 sashes, sash with coloured glass borders to first half-landing.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings with shaped heads on limestone bases.
