MATERIALS: Cast iron.
EXTERIOR: Hexagonal "Penfold" type with acanthus-leaf ornament to ogee dome with large bud finial, large balls to the cornice, a royal crest to the frieze above two lintel bands with a slit to the front flanked raised letters: `POST' to the left and `OFFICE' to the right. Below the slit is a frame holding posting times over a scrolled VR monogram. Moulded plinth. Door and lock to the right hand facet.
