House in terrace. c1771.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double Roman tile roof. One of short terrace in narrow courtyard off New King Street.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, attic and basement, all windows twelve-pane sashes. Two dormers above tripartite sash, with two separate sashes to ground floor. To left six-panel door under flat stone hood on brackets. Small plinth dies to left, and platband above ground floor immediately over full width wood lintel. Small cavetto cornice with deep blocking course and parapet, to left straight joint in masonry for full height. Stack to right.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. Part of a carefully restored courtyard group (by Aaron Evans, architect 1983-84), having formerly been in poor condition. Part of a notable survival of artisanal housing, laid out around a close.
