Bromley memorial in St Michael's Cemetery

Memorial. c1869. Pennant stone ashlar. Stepped base, tapered pylon-shaped shaft with fielded inscription panel with relief of a drooping cut rose, emblematic of the extinction of a sweet and too short life. Above, a massive-scaled dentil cornice, topped with a domed foliate finial.
HISTORY: This memorial commemorates the Rev. James Bromley, Minister of Quiet Street Chapel, died 1869.
