Houses with public house. Early/mid C19, altered late C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, painted in part.
PLAN: No.3 and ground floor of No.6, roof not visible from street. Small double depth plan cottages, of which Nos 6 and 7 have been amalgamated into Rose and Crown public house.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, two windows on ground floor and one above. Ground floor of Nos 3-5 have paired plain plate glass sash and plain door with small rectangular light over. No.4 had shop window until c1970. No.6 has bar frontage with doors at either end, six light window to left and four light one to right, continuous fascia on console brackets. Upper floor has single six/six sash in first four bays and eight/eight one at right hand end. Cornice, set lower to bays three and four, parapet. Return elevation to Dafford Street painted on ground floor with part glazed four panel door and six/six sash, above recessed blind panel and eight/eight sash. Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIOR: Now opened out, with tiled fireplace surround to rear room and radiators wrapped around bar.
