Pair of houses. c1820.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof unseen, stacks to party wall and returns.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor; almost symmetrical seven-window front, three per house with blind windows to party wall. Continuous returned coped parapet, cornice, ground floor platband and plinth, central three ranges step very slightly forward. No.14 to left has six/six-pane sash windows with balconettes flanking narrow blind window over set back six-panel door with margin panes to two-pane overlight. To left wide segmental arch to basement. No.15 has six/six-pane sash windows with balconettes to left hand range, four/four-pane sash windows over door and to right and six/six-pane sash to right of door. Wide semi-elliptical doorway has keystone dying into platband, richly decorated ornament to fanlight (probably cast iron), and margin lights to six-panel door.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
HISTORY: Part of this highly characteristic Regency suburban development, showing the influence of the Greek Revival on Bath's domestic architecture.
