Shop with accommodation over. c1810, repaired c1983, shopfront 1988, together with Nos 1-9 New Bond Street (qv), and Nos 2-6 Upper Borough Walls (qv). Reconstruction by Alec French and Partners.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof not visible from street.
PLAN: Corner site, double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Four storeys, two-window front to Upper Borough Walls, single window to canted corner, three windows to Northgate Street. Late C20 shopfront with corner entrance, divided by rusticated stone pilasters. All windows above are sashes in plain reveals, six/six except third floor, which has three/six sashes. Incised Roman capitals spell out `UPPER BOROUGH WALLS¿ at second floor height. Second floor sill band to first four windows only, fluted frieze, cornice and parapet.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. Shop has no features of interest.
