Gate-piers, retaining walls and steps, joint entrance. Early C19. Ashlar. Opposite centre of villas, at pavement edge, pair of panelled gatepiers with cross-pedimented cappings, with landing dividing to series of steps with broad landings, contained by rear retaining wall, with triple pediment, centre widest, copings continue to lower horizontal stretch of walls flanking steps. Central pediment inscribed WOODHILL PLACE in fine Roman lettering.
