Terrace row at right angles to street. Early/mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar. Welsh slate roofs only partially visible.
PLAN: Terrace of narrow double depth houses with doors to left.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, No.8 has added gabled attic;, single window fronts, six/six sashes. Six panel doors with transom light. Banded rustication to ground floor, platband at first floor level. Cornice, parapet, roofs are low mansards only partially visible except No.1 and No.8. No.8 has additional six/six sash in attic. No.1 has street front with two six/six sashes and additional three/six ones in added rear wing. Modern door on ground floor which shows signs of having been rebuilt, shopfront probably having been removed. Mansard shaped gable above this. Tented verandah with lead roof has been added to garden front c1990. Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
A relatively modest row of Regency terraced houses, possessing the monumental, uniform presence normally associated with larger urban developments.
