Six terrace houses stepped downhill to right from No.7. Late C18/early C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double depth slate roofs with moulded stacks to party walls.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Two and three-window range. Parapets, cornices and sill bands. No.7 has two-window range. Three/three-pane sash windows to second floor, six/six-panes to left of first floor and eight/eight-panes to right. six-panel door to left set in shallow stone porch with raised panels to jambs and blocks with roundels to upper corners. No.8 similar with eight/eight-pane and plate glass windows, ten/ten-panes to basement. No.9 similar. No.10 similar. No.11 has three-bays wide, with entrance in centre, six-panel door in plain recess. Plate glass windows on ground floor, platband at first floor level, eight/eight-sashes above, centre windows are blind. No.12 also three-bays wide but right hand windows are blind. Ground floor has marginal glazed sash. First floor has an eight/eight-sash to left and six/six in centre, upper floor ones are plain. Wrought iron railing to right of ground floor. This house has three-bay garden front to right. Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIORS: Not inspected except No. 8, inspected by Bath Council 1982, which has original fireplace, reeded with lozenge motif and a wedge shaped staircase with well. No. 9 which has a similar fireplace and staircase and No.12 which has cantilevered stone staircase with iron balustrade and mahogany handrail.
