Tomb of John Lambe (d.1865).
Neoclassical memorial of white marble comprising a half-column on square base, with cable moulding to the top, surmounted by a sculpted rising Phoenix.
HISTORY: Lambe was Paymaster on board HMS Phoenix, an appropriate name for a Christian monument with its associations of resurrection. Also to Lambe¿s son Hugh (d. 1849 at Calcutta). Located at section VI.H.40.42.
