Tomb of Joseph Channing Pearce (d.1847).
Ledger tomb of polished pink Peterhead granite, carried on four buns over a plinth of Pennant stone. Signed `Rogers, Bath¿.
HISTORY: Pearce, a surgeon of Bradford-on-Avon, died aged 35. `He spent his life in studying the work of God¿ and amassed a huge collection of fossils at his house, Montague House, Lambridge. Located at section I.E.1.2.3.
