Stothert Family Tomb (1855).
Greek Revival pedestal tomb of Pennant stone with acroteria.
HISTORY: This monument commemorates Elisabeth Stothert (1765-1855), formerly of Ironridge and second wife of George Stothert (1755-1818), ironmaster and founder of the firm of Stothert & Pitt. He was buried in a vault beneath St James¿s church, along with his first wife. Plain and overgrown but of historical interest.
