Description

Circa 1846. Possibly George Rhind. 2-storey, symmetrical
3-bay house. Roughly coursed rubble NW front, random rubble
flanks, tooled rubble dressings. Centre door; ground and
1st floor windows in return SW gable; harled 2-storey,
single bay wing to rear; lying- and 8-pane glazing;
superimposed gabled roof extends to embrace wallhead end
stacks with plain barge boards; shallow piended slate roof
with projecting eaves.
Steading; circa 1846. Random rubble rectangular steading,
single storey and loft Slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Former Free Church (now demolished) stood close by.

Architect was G. Rhind. (Builder and Architect)
