Earlier 19th century, long single storey and attic SW
facing steading range fronting rectangular inner court.
All rubble with tooled rubble dressings. Centre round-
headed arched entrance to court, under stumpy crenellated
tower with dummy pediments at front and side wallheads;
bipartite in centre 1st floor with band course and pigeon
flight holes above.
To left of entrance arch (NW), 7 segmental headed cart
bays with rectangular loft vents above (1 cart bay slapped
as tall flat-headed entrance reaching wallhead); to
left (SE) range of 3 single storey and attic cottages, 2
3-bay and single 2-bay dwellings with 2 gabletted dormers.
Later gabled and crowstepped cattle court within square;
rectangular with segmental headed entrance, band course
and blank date plaque.
Coped ridge and end stacks; corugated asbestos roofs.
