Description

1822.(?). Castellated. 2 storeys. Droved ashlar. Crenellated parapets. Angle towers. Hood mouldings over pointed mullioned windows. Porch. Inset dated 1585 from earlier house on site.

Statement of Interest

Belonged to Dundases of Duddingstone. Probably built at same time as steading. Sold by Gabriel Hamilton Dundas of Duddingstone and of Westburn. Lanark (Lanarkshire) to John; 5th Earl of Hopetoun c. 1830.
