In some respects similar in plan to Killochen Castle; ground
floor contains kitchen and two cellars; staircase occupies
the wing as far as the first floor, which leads to the
hall and a small newel staircase corbelled out in the
angle which conducts to the upper floors; has the usual
corbelled angle turrets and crowstepped gables. The date
1589 is carved on one of the large windows.
